Management team
The Board has appointed Tilstone Partners Limited to provide day‑to-day management advisory services to the Group.
After identifying opportunities within the warehouse sector, the focus moved in August 2013 to creating the Tilstone Property Portfolio, which the Company acquired as its seed portfolio as part of the September 2017 initial public offering. As Managing Director of Tilstone, Andrew takes overall responsibility for strategy, direction and business performance.
Prior to founding Tilstone, Andrew was appointed as property director to the board of Barlows plc in 1994, a northwest focused commercial property company with a listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. He was subsequently part of a consortium that took the company private in 2001. The business created a separate asset management company through which Andrew served on the investment committee of Westbury plc, a quoted property fund (2002-2007). Andrew has also served as a non-executive director of Dee Valley Group plc, at that time a London Stock Exchange quoted water utility company.
He was previously Investment Director at sustainable real asset manager Astarte Capital, where he was responsible for identifying and sourcing investment opportunities and managing JV partnerships. Prior to that, he held roles at BlackRock and MGPA.
As Head of Corporate Finance, Nick is responsible for the management and provision of strategic input across the Company’s investment portfolio and corporate finance initiatives. He has oversight of a range of corporate activity as well as the investment cycle, including financial structuring, capital raising and management of due diligence. Nick reports to Paul Makin (Investment Director) and is based in the London office.
Adrian is a Chartered Accountant with over 13 years experience in accounting, reporting and financial planning and control.
Adrian was the audit manager for a mid-tier accounting firm for seven years in Australia before moving to the UK.
After gaining experience in a NYSE listed gaming business and in a private equity firm investing in property in Angola, Adrian joined CLS Holdings a FTSE 250 business with a portfolio of over £2bn in the UK, Germany and France. Adrian was responsible for the Financial Control of the UK, before heading up the Group’s Financial Planning and Analysis department.
Adrian has strong technical and analytical skills whilst applying commercial understanding to complex financial transactions.

Henrietta is a Chartered Surveyor with 8 years’ experience in the commercial property sector across all asset types in the North of England and Scotland.
Henrietta studied Planning and Real Estate at The University of Manchester before starting her career at JLL, based in their Manchester office, and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2016. Henrietta gained experience in several disciplines including Landlord and Tenant, Valuation and Property & Asset Management.
With a particular interest in sustainability, Henrietta worked on a wide range of multi-let assets for prominent investment firms and most recently was a Contract Lead on a major pension fund specialising in long income assets.
At Tilstone, Henrietta is an Asset Manager based in the Chester office with a portfolio of properties across the North of England.
Julie holds an MBA from Reading University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She has held senior HR roles in both the private and not for profit sectors prior to setting up her own HR consultancy business.
She also holds the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Having started his career at Workman, Scott moved to Ashtenne where he became a Regional Head of Asset Management, based at their London head office, with responsibility for their South East portfolio. After leaving Ashtenne in 2013, Scott set up a niche Industrial Asset Management business, 4Corners IAM, managing industrial properties for institutional and private clients.
Scott is a Regional Director overseeing the asset management of property across the North of England and Scotland and also takes the direct lead on some key value-enhancing development opportunities. Scott reports to Paul Makin (Investment Director, works closely with the senior management team to maximise returns for the portfolio and enhancing engagement with our occupier base.
Henrietta is a Chartered Surveyor with 8 years’ experience in the commercial property sector across all asset types in the North of England and Scotland.

Following university, Gary started his career and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at international property consultants King Sturge LLP, now part of JLL, where during the majority of his eight years he held a UK-wide property management role supervising regional teams of staff and reporting directly to institutional clients.
At Tilstone Gary is based in London, reporting to investment director Paul Makin and leverages his national network and expertise to improve income and value across a diversified portfolio of multi-let UK urban warehouses.
He has extensive investment consultancy experience through his work at CBRE Limited and subsequently at Mapeley Estates Limited (a previously listed property company), where he was head of investment and investment asset management, tasked with extracting value from outsourcing contracts and new acquisitions. Paul expanded his horizons with a senior investment asset management role at Moorfield Group Limited, a real estate private equity company. There he took a key role in the purchase and asset management of projects such as the UK Logistics Fund, in a joint venture with SEGRO plc.
Daniel is responsible for the delivery of Warehouse REIT’s new build developments and advises on all aspects of construction. Specific areas include all design, legal and regulatory, compliance, contractual and construction matters. Daniel also oversees all Warehouse REIT’s refurbishment projects. Sustainability features strongly in all the projects.
Prior to joining Tilstone, Daniel previously worked for Chancerygate where he was responsible for all aspects of the development process. This included undertaking initial due diligence on new land prior to acquisition, through to the delivery of new build industrial projects. During his time at Chancerygate Daniel was involved with numerous high profile complex development projects.

Keisha joined Tilstone in February 2023. With over 6 years’ front of house experience, Keisha is responsible for ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Coming from a Property and Retail background Cornell has over 9 years experience in the Accountancy and Finance field. She started as an Apprentice and has worked her way towards completing her ACCA and becoming a fully Chartered Accountant. Cornell has worked with the likes of MAPP (Property Management) Ltd and Selfridges.
Caroline has extensive experience in the property industry having worked for 16 years at Savills UK within Valuation, Plc and Central London Investment. She joined Tilstone in January 2023.
Keisha joined Tilstone in February 2023. With over 6 years’ front of house experience, Keisha is responsible for ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Coming from a Property and Retail background Cornell has over 9 years experience in the Accountancy and Finance field. She started as an Apprentice and has worked her way towards completing her ACCA and becoming a fully Chartered Accountant. Cornell has worked with the likes of MAPP (Property Management) Ltd and Selfridges.

Jo was previously IR and Corporate Sustainability lead at British Land, a FTSE 100 REIT, where she worked on all aspects of company’s investor communications including the annual report, results materials and capital markets events. Prior to that she worked as Head of Investor Relations for Elephant Capital, an AIM listed vehicle based in Delhi.
Jo also has seven years of investment banking experience, including five years in Corporate Finance at NM Rothschild, where she focused on Real Estate and Retail & Leisure and she spent two years in Corporate Broking at Merrill Lynch.
Beth joined the team in 2018 following 9 years in the legal sector specialising in real estate where she qualified as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Beth has taken on a new role within the company as Estates Manager of our Milton Keynes assets. Beth focuses on occupier relationships and the smooth running of our two flagship estates.
Evie has a degree in International Business from Loughborough University, and worked in London for a year in digital marketing, before going on to complete a Masters degree in Real Estate.
Evie worked at JLL in Birmingham for 3 years, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2020. At JLL, Evie gained experience across a variety of property types and disciplines, including Lease Advisory, Agency, Valuation and Capital Markets. Notably, Evie managed the lease events of a large financial institution across their properties in the Midlands region, as well as working as a Letting Agent on major developments and representing national occupiers in finding new commercial space.
At Tilstone, Evie is an Asset Manager, based in Banbury, dealing with properties predominantly in the Midlands region.

In addition to his day-to-day role, Alex has increasingly been involved in new acquisition work as well as selling a number of non-core assets.
Alex utilises his understanding of the industrial and logistics sector and combines it with his relationships with occupiers and fellow industry professionals to create new opportunities and deliver results. A keen networker, Alex served on the organizing committee for the UK property industry’s largest ski networking event; PropSki.
